looking for resources in the NYC Metropolitan area that can commute to the city 2-3 times per week. So, they must be in the area or willing to relocate immediately to the NYC Metropolitan area.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce Engineer with 10 years of IT experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing and implementing Salesforce solutions that drive business transformation
and efficiency. As a Salesforce Engineer, you will play a critical role in helping solve complex problems related to custom Salesforce development: platform customization, custom system integration, and app development for customers using both code and no-code
tools.

Responsibilities:

Architectural Leadership:

Help the lead architect to define and maintain the overall Salesforce architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Design of Salesforce solutions to support the lead architect
Provide expertise, oversight and guidance on all Salesforce projects and initiatives.

Solution Design:

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical solutions.
Ensure best practices are followed in the design, development, and deployment of Salesforce solutions.

Platform Management:

Oversee the administration and maintenance of the Salesforce platform, ensuring optimal performance and stability.
Manage platform upgrades and ensure compatibility with existing solutions.

Monitor system performance, resolve technical issues, and optimize the platform for scalability.

Team Collaboration & Leadership:

Work closely with developers, administrators, and other IT teams to ensure cohesive and efficient development processes.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members and developers.
Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Engage with business leaders and stakeholders to understand their needs and provide technical solutions.
Present architectural solutions to stakeholders.

Compliance & Security:

Ensure that Salesforce solutions comply with industry standards and bank's security policies.
Implement and enforce security best practices within the Salesforce platform.

Continuous Improvement:

Stay current with industry trends and advancements in Salesforce and related technologies.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend innovative solutions to enhance platform capabilities.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

Bachelors degree in computer science or software engineering
Prior work experience in the development of applications and software
Hands-on experience with scripting languages like MYSQL, JavaScript, Apex, Native, and VisualForce
Proficiency in the Salesforce CRM platform
In-depth experience with designing customer-facing interfaces
Fundamental object-oriented programming techniques (OOPs)
Basic knowledge of Java, C#, and .Net
Apex DML, Apex Triggers, Apex Testing, Batch Apex
Data management and modeling competence
Understanding of Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL) and Salesforce Object Search Language (SOSL)
Experience in building and maintaining sites hosted on Force.com or Site.com
Expertise in Lightning Framework
APIs & Integrations
Basic understanding of the development and maintaining Customer communities.
Salesforce technical consultancy and system assessment
Solution design (architecting) and code review, including the considerations, limitations, and impact.
Implementation of batch classes to enable data migration without data loss and corruption.
Creation of user-friendly and visually appealing designs with custom styling to support dynamic versions of the components when setting up in Lightning App builder.
Building Lightning Components via Lightning App Builder to facilitate component development.
Database modeling, data sets deduplication, data querying from a custom object to a standard object, and performance of DML operations with consideration of governor limits.
Resolving code coverage issues and writing test classes.
Development of custom objects, custom reports, and dashboards for sales and marketing needs.
Creation of custom fields and validation rules for new and existing objects and custom functionality using custom controllers and custom extensions.
Maintenance of user roles, application-level security, system-level security, single Sign-on configuration, and customized security rules.
Design and development of Apex Classes, Controller Classes, extensions, and Apex Triggers across multiple objects and applications for various functional needs.
Integrating with third-party solutions that are already installed and running on the clients systems.

Professional Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams.

Certifications:

Salesforce Certified AppBuilder.

Additional certifications in ITIL or other relevant frameworks are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile development environments.

The Shared service operations SME role is a critical role in the success of the Enterprise Platforms and Capabilities organization. The SME will be responsible to setting up the governance model from start to finish for Salesforce
Enterprise Shared Services. This role has an accountability to define the strategic vision for the Salesforce ESS Platform. The SME has a deep understanding of Salesforce platform and builds close relationship with various districts Salesforce Technology
Groups and is aligned with business needs and Organization's overall strategic goal. The SME manages various dependencies working closely with key stakeholder groups such as National IT, System IT, Business Groups, Enterprise Architecture, and other Technology
functions. The SME works closely with platform architecture to ensure overall alignment to drive future-state business and technical capabilities.

Responsibilities:

Expertise in setting up SF ESS

Establish governance structures and processes for Salesforce shared services.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, security, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to Salesforce

Good Knowledge of SF security features and best practices to ensure data privacy and regulatory compliance
A good understanding of Salesforce's capabilities, including Government cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Analytics (CRMA) and other.
Proficiency in configuring Salesforce, hands-on building custom applications (declarative and Programmatic), workflows, and reports for various teams in a single and multiple organization(s)
Hands-on technology experience enabling customer relationship management capabilities with deep techno/functional and solution implementation experience in a CRM platform such as SalesForce
Develop and implement Salesforce operational policies, process, procedures and best practices for ESS. Define the Operational aspects of implementations, system performance and maintenance, availability
and reliability.
Define and Develop ESS policies and procedures for:

Multi-org and Global deployment strategies
Incident management, release management, change management, configuration management, capacity planning, backup/restore, ensure business continuity / disaster recovery and Operational reports for ESS
User management, support and communication
Managing budget, expense tracking and finance reporting for projects, focusing on cost optimizing and costs, vendor management and contract negotiating, ROI analysis and ensure financial compliance
Project scope assessment, resource planning, time estimates, risk assessment / remediation, stakeholder expectation and continuous improvement
Standardize Salesforce components, Apex Exchange usage, developing templates, foster collaboration and establish governance to maximize reuse efficiency.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience with Product Management discipline within Technology space and Agile/Scrum product development.

3+ years of experience in User experience or user outreach contributions (insights, research, design, testing).

Demonstrated experience managing shared services operating model and providing governance guidance on coordinating demand intake across multiple business groups
Demonstrated experience providing influence and/or matrixed oversight to technical teams

Comprehensive and proficient facilitation, communication, & negotiation skills.

Discipline to operate independently, collaborate effectively and thrive in ambiguity with a generalist mindset.

Knowledge of software development processes, technology trends, and project management principles.

You have curiosity and love solving problems using your creative and critical thinking skills.

Experience with a hybrid work environment; proficient in online collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, Teams, or similar.
