The ideal candidate will develop, execute, and manage comprehensive testing strategies to maintain high standards in compliance with industry regulations and quality benchmarks. Key Responsibilities: Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry regulatory and quality standards within the NG911 systems, with a focus on FIRE and EMD dispatch. Test Planning & Execution: Develop and execute both exploratory and automated tests to verify product quality. Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases specific to FIRE & EMD dispatch systems. Coordination with Stakeholders: Develop, prioritize, and coordinate testing activities in collaboration with FDNY and associated vendors. Automation Scripting: Develop and execute automation scripts to enhance testing processes, ensuring seamless integration and functionality of FIRE and EMD components. Process Development: Design and apply testing processes to ensure the integrity and functionality of FIRE and EMD systems within the NG911 infrastructure. Mandatory Qualifications: Candidates must meet the following mandatory qualifications to be considered: 12+ Years of Experience in a relevant technical and/or business application, product, platform, methodology, or skill set. Public Safety/Dispatch Systems Testing: Proven experience in testing Public Safety/Dispatch applications or systems. Desirable Skills/Experience: Large System Integration: Previous integration and test experience on large systems, particularly in a public safety context. Problem-Solving Skills: A proactive approach to problem-solving, with strong troubleshooting and debugging skills, both technical and non-technical. Testing Tools Expertise: Experience with testing tools such as Selenium Test Suite, Mercury Interactive Tools, Maven, and Rational SQA Suite/Team Test.
