Relevant experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis when applicable. The Department requires the following experience, skills, and/or knowledge for this position: Experience with creating executive-level reports and communications; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Proficient in utilizing Microsoft (MS) Excel and MS PowerPoint; Ability to prepare reports, presentations, and articles to inside management and outside vendors; Experience with administrative functions; and Ability to adapt to change and be able to handle multiple priorities. NOTE: In addition to the above list, the selected Candidate must successfully complete a Level II Background Check. 4.2. Preferred Qualifications: The Department prefers the Candidate to have the following experience, skills, and/or knowledge for this position: Three (3) or more years utilizing MS Suite software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat software; Proficient in conducting research activities utilizing internet search engines; Effective communication and collaborative skills; Ability to coordinate numerous tasks and effectively meet overall objectives; Experience in creating presentations for executives; Use patience, determination, and persistence to troubleshoot client issues; Strong results-oriented, problem-solving, and analytical skills; Ability to work as a team, as well as independently; and Experience working in the IT industry.
