The role offers the opportunity to work remotely with occasional travel to San Antonio, TX, and requires active collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure that performance requirements are met for a critical federal project Description: The ReadyAPI Load Runner MYPAY Tester will play a critical role in ensuring the performance and reliability of web services in a federal project setting. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing performance test plans and cases using ReadyAPI and LoadRunner. This role requires conducting load tests to evaluate how web services handle varying user traffic levels, identifying bottlenecks, and collaborating with development teams to resolve performance issues. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining test scripts, analyzing test results, and generating detailed performance reports. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute performance test plans and test cases using ReadyAPI and LoadRunner to assess the performance of web services. Conduct load testing to evaluate how web services handle varying levels of user traffic and identify performance bottlenecks. Create and maintain test scripts that simulate user interactions and measure system performance under load conditions. Monitor system performance during tests, analyze results, and generate detailed performance reports. Identify, document, and report performance issues, working closely with development teams to resolve them. Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance accuracy and efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, and project managers, to ensure performance requirements are met. Maintain comprehensive documentation of test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test results. Requirements: Experience: o 10+ years of experience in software performance testing, with a focus on web services. o 7+ years of experience with Load UI/ReadyAPI testing. o 7+ years of experience with WebLogic. o 7+ years of experience with Java. o 7+ years of experience with LoadRunner. o 7+ years of experience in performance testing. Education: o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
