Most people can learn PHP quickly, but no one can learn EXT JS on the spot. Candidate could have used EXT JS a few years ago (2-3 years) They need to be the one developing, using and working directly with EXTJS, if they say "it was in our environment, or it was part of our application" but they didn't work with it directly, no go. No ramp up time. Looking for a Mid Level (not exactly Sr. but independent worker) PHP - they need to have experience with it but not as important as EXT JS He is looking for 50/50 full stack. JOB OVERVIEW Our client is seeking a talented Full Stack Engineer to join and enhance their team working on enterprise applications. The current technology stack includes PHP, components in Bootstrap, and a growing number of custom integrations with other services and applications. They are looking for someone who can quickly adapt to the existing environment, implement incremental changes, and collaborate with the team to tackle new architectural challenges while maintaining a big-picture perspective of the entire platform REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES 7-10 years experience writing high quality and maintainable PHP with MVC Framework Experience. Yii would be a major plus 5-7 years experience JavaScript (ES6+) with Proven understanding of Angular, React, or other leading JS front end technology along with background in Bootstrap CSS, jQuery. Proven, extensive knowledge of EXT JS 2-3 years experience running, configuring Apache server. Understanding of testing practices, experience with test-driven development frameworks for application and infrastructure code, Experience in integrating unit tests and smoke test with code quality analysis tools like JUnit, PHPUnit, Cypress and Selenium. Strong understanding of OOP fundamentals (Composition vs. Inheritance, SOLID principles, Design Patterns) 1-2 years experience using Apache Server 4+ years RDBMS experience MSSQL preferred Significant experience with GIT Version control (Github, GitLab, Bit Bucket, GIT) Excellent communication, organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines as group member or individual worker. Ability to interact and work effectively with multiple stakeholders, including faculty, staff, administration, and all external constituencies.
