Integrate OpenTelemetry into applications and infrastructure to collect and analyze telemetry data (metrics, logs, and traces). Configure and manage Splunk for log aggregation, analysis, and visualization. Utilize AppDynamics for application performance monitoring and troubleshooting. Develop and maintain dashboards and alerts to proactively identify and resolve issues. Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure comprehensive observability coverage. Optimize telemetry pipelines for performance and scalability. Provide guidance and best practices for instrumenting applications with OpenTelemetry. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to telemetry data collection and processing. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in observability and telemetry technologies. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in monitoring and observability of distributed systems. Strong knowledge of OpenTelemetry and its components (tracing, metrics, and logging). Experience with Splunk for log management and analysis. Proficiency in using AppDynamics for application performance monitoring. Familiarity with telemetry data collection, processing, and visualization tools. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with other observability tools and frameworks (e.g., ELK stack, Datadog). Knowledge of microservices architecture and best practices.
