| Title : Database SME - DB2 Location : Clayton, Missouri (Hybrid) Role/ JD: S.NoDB2 DBA JD 1Knowledge on core concepts of DB2 LUW. 2Extensive experience with planning, documenting and performing upgrades and migration, setting up new database environments. 3Experience in problem analysis and troubleshooting database related issues. 4Provide performance tuning support to development teams for resolving issues with space usage, stored procedures, SQL Tuning and application monitoring. 5Analyze and tune SQL statements and indexes; make performance recommendations to development teams. 6Understand metadata, metrics, trending, and automation. 7Advanced scripting skills required. 8Advise developers for best practice, rollout implementation support. 9Work with vendor for tuning recommendations. 10Implement fixpacks and security patches when required. 11Participate in disaster recovery exercises. 12Knowledge on DB2 HADR, HACMP. Qreplication knowledge is preffered. 13Monitor production databases and dbm settings, adjusting for optimal performance and throughput. 14Configure DB2 Connect Server and Client, and install ODBC drivers.
