| Hi, Please find the requirement, Job Description : Role : Technical Project/Program Manager ( GCP Projects + Retail) Location : Bay Area , CA (Remote but should be from PST) Duration : Contract Job Description: You will be responsible for leading and managing complex technology projects that leverage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to enhance our retail operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, development, and business stakeholders, to ensure the successful delivery of projects that align with our strategic goals. Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects on GCP, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Retail Expertise: Apply your deep understanding of the retail industry to guide project decisions, prioritize initiatives, and deliver solutions that meet business needs. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, and other stakeholders to define project requirements, manage expectations, and communicate project progress effectively. Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that GCP solutions are designed and implemented according to best practices. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively. Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources, including team members, vendors, and budget, to ensure successful project delivery. Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus. Experience: 5+ years of experience in technical project management, with a strong focus on GCP and cloud-based solutions. Proven experience in the retail industry, with an understanding of retail operations, systems, and customer experience. Technical Skills: Expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including cloud architecture, API Development , deployment, and management. Strong knowledge of retail systems such as POS, eCommerce platforms, inventory management, and customer analytics. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence). Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges. Preferred Qualifications: GCP certification (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Cloud Developer). Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with data analytics and machine learning solutions in a retail context.
