| Role: Oracle (PL/SQL) Developer / Oracle Forms Developer Location: San Diego CA, Charlotte NC, Florham Park NJ (3 Days Onsite) Client : LPL Financial Job Summary: As an Oracle PL/SQL Developer / Oracle Forms Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex database applications using Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle Forms. Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing database performance, ensuring data integrity, and supporting various business processes. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain custom applications using Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle Forms to meet business requirements. Work on database schema design, ensuring normalization, indexing, and data integrity to optimize performance. Write and optimize complex PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers. Develop, modify, and maintain Oracle Forms applications, ensuring user-friendly interfaces and functionality. Create and maintain detailed documentation of all development work, including design specifications, code comments, and user guides. Conduct unit testing and assist with system integration testing to ensure quality and functionality of developed applications. Provide ongoing support for existing Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle Forms applications, including bug fixes, enhancements, and updates. Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions. Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development and Oracle Forms. Proficient in Oracle PL/SQL programming, with strong experience in writing complex queries, stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers. Extensive experience in developing and maintaining Oracle Forms applications, including form customization and enhancement. Strong understanding of database design principles, including normalization, indexing, and data modeling. Proven ability to optimize database performance, including query optimization and index management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with Oracle Reports, SQL*Plus, TOAD, or similar development tools is a plus. Certifications: Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or similar certification is a plus.
