The ideal candidate will have experience developing, deploying, and supporting Docker Containers running Java, NodeJS, and .NET applications. Duties and Responsibilities: Develop Dockerfiles for containers that run Java, Node, and .NET applications. Create deployment pipelines in Azure DevOps that build and deploy containers to Linux hosts. Maintain a repository of templated container images in Nexus Repository Manager. Work closely with developers to understand requirements. Handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously. Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision and collaboratively in a team environment. Explain technical concepts to non-technical people. Ability to learn new technologies or off the shelf software quickly. Prioritize tasks and responsibilities. The ability to give and receive constructive feedback. Experience contributing to process improvement and the ability to bring new ideas to the table. Skills: Minimum 4+ years of Docker container experience Minimum 3+ years of Linux Administration experience (Oracle Linux/RHEL) Docker Container Development: Candidates must have an understanding of the Docker container Runtime, Dockerfiles, Docker Compose, Container Networking, and Troubleshooting containers. Linux Administration: Candidates must be able to troubleshoot issues on the underlying OS that Docker containers are deployed on, including but not limited to network, file mount and resource issues. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps Minimum 2+ years of Python scripting/development experience. Understanding of how to troubleshoot common container deployment and runtime issues. Basical troubleshooting of NGINX/Java/Postfix/.NET Experience working on an Agile team. Familiarity with Linux/NGINX/Apache and SSL certificate maintenance. Demonstrated understanding of and keeping up to date with Secure Container/Linux administration practices. Ability to prioritize and self-manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience with the use of business applications (email, calendar, spreadsheets, etc.). Excellent communication with clients is a must. The successful candidate will have demonstrated effective oral and written communication. They are expected to maintain a positive working relationship with agency staff and other groups. Experience creating architecture diagrams in Visio Experience in using Git for version control. Nice to Have: Bash and Powershell scripting experience Experience using Rest APIs. Ansible Playbook experience Orchestration experience Interview Process: MS Teams with camera on Duration of the Contract: 6/30/25 with possibility to renew. Onsite or Remote This position can work 100% remote (within the state of WI). Candidate MUST be a WI resident or willing to relocate to WI.
