Here is Job Description for your referen c e- Position: Senior GCP Consultant Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid from Day One) Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior GCP Consultant to join our team in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with a particular focus on Data Engineering. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing data processing solutions using GCP services, including Data Flow, Kafka, Pub/Sub, and BigQuery. This role requires someone with excellent problem-solving skills, deep technical expertise, and the ability to work in a hybrid work environment from day one. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement data pipelines using GCP Data Flow written in Java. Integrate and manage real-time data streams using Kafka and Pub/Sub. Work with BigQuery for data warehousing solutions and optimization. Utilize Google Airflow for orchestrating complex workflows and automating tasks. Develop and maintain shell scripts for automating various tasks. Apply strong reporting and analytical skills, particularly with EDW Teradata. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and deliver data solutions that meet business needs. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members. Required Skills & Experience: 10+ years of overall experience in data engineering, with at least 4+ years of hands-on experience in GCP. Strong expertise in GCP Data Engineering with a focus on Data Flow written in Java. Proficient in using Kafka and Pub/Sub for real-time data processing. Experience with BigQuery and Google Airflow. Proficiency in Python and shell scripting for automation. Strong analytical skills with experience in EDW Teradata. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a hybrid work environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications: GCP Certification in Data Engineering or related field. Prior experience in a consulting role. Experience in mentoring and guiding junior engineers. Location Requirement: Candidates must be willing to work on-site in Dallas, TX, with a hybrid model from the first day of employment.
