Automation Engineering or Controls Engineer or "Electrical Engineer") Location: Indiana / Kentucky (***MUST be willing to TRAVEL) Is REMOTE work an option: YES with up to 60% travel Why do you have the need(s):To deliver ISA-95 Level 0/1 and IoT related equipment/process automation and control for industrial customers, ensuring systems are deployed at the right price, quality, and schedule.Day to day job responsibilities:1. Analysis, architecture, development, deployment, and management of automation and control systems. 2. Project management and delivery. 3. Create detailed job instruction sheets. 4. Conduct training sessions. 5. Collaborate with IoT engineers, production engineering, and maintenance teams.Technical Environment: Edge devices/systems, PLC/PAC, I/O sensors, Network Layer-2 switches, communication protocols, etc. (ISA-95 Level 0-1). Who is the internal/external customer: Engineering/Operational Technology (OT) and/or Maintenance organization. Size of group: Varies, delivery across 3-5 different customers. Education/Training: BSEE/BSME (ABET accredited) 3 Must haves for the position: 1. Network Architecture (/Design) experience for OT (Operational Technology) Level 0/1, see drawing below. 2. Experience with device programming and/or installation and configuration or Level 0/1 devices, see drawing below. 3. 10+ years of experience Pluses for the position:1. Project management skills. 2. Knowledge of industry best practices and compliance issues. 3. Ability to manage third-party suppliers. 4. Strong documentation and communication skills.
