https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=1685491&uid= From: simran, Db2 Systems Programmer, IBM Mainframe simran@urbench.com Reply to: simran@urbench.com Title: Db2 Systems Programmer, IBM Mainframe Location : Atlanta, GA Job Description: Administer a large Db2 Data Sharing Production and Test environment (Sysplex mainframe environment, Multiple CECs & LPARS) Administer 3rd-party systems software Create new and/or modify existing Db2 subsystems in support of new applications or Db2 architecture re-engineering initiatives Provide problem resolution, including diagnosis and root-cause analysis of Db2 application software problems, configuration and/or software-related problems. Ability to resolve Production DB2 issues quickly and effectively Installing, customizing and maintenance of Db2 V12 Function Levels to maintain a reliable and stable infrastructure, monitor and tune buffer pools and manage zParm configurations Exposure to Db2 tools such as Log Analyzer, SQL Performance Analyzer, OPTIM and BMC's suite of tools for Db2.
