Title : Software Developer Location : Hybrid/Plano, TX Duration: long term Contract Job description : This is a Software Engineer who can do data testing. Java, SQL, Python, AWS. Data Testing: Finding bugs and fixing them. This a developer who can help with bug fix, testing and then actually executing on the fix! Notes: Modernizing legacy systems, currently in the final stretch of the project Need software engineers, perform testing on data and then make the fix as soon as possible. Some knowledge of accounting is helpful. SQL, AWS, Snowflake, analytic mindset, Python, Spark and Hadoop (nice to have) Must sit onsite in Plano, TX hybrid (Mon & Fri/Tue-Thu onsite) Must have experience in Python & SQL We are working toward existing SHAW Mainframe. The candidate will be working on modern ETL tools like EMR, Apache Spark, AWS, Java and home-grown tools. We plan to exit SHAW by Q2 2024 and hence will need the support for the duration of the contract. AWS, IAM, EMR, Spark, modern pipelines, Jenkins, Java; motivated to get things done.
