We need someone who can come onsite at least once a week, Responsibilities: Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Work with external data sources and APIs. Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs. Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven working experience in Android app development. Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes. Experience with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services. Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git. Familiarity with continuous integration. Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience with Kotlin programming language. Experience with Agile methodologies. Published one or more Android apps in the Google Play Store.
