Job Title: SAP PP/QM Job type: Contract (C2C) Location: Phoenix, AZ (onsite) Relevant Experience (in Yrs.): 10 + Visa: GC, GC EAD, USC, H1B Job Summary: The SAP PP/QM Consultant is responsible for the implementation, configuration, and support of the SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) modules. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure that SAP PP/QM functionalities are optimized to meet business needs. Key Responsibilities: SAP PP Configuration: Configure SAP PP module to support production planning, scheduling, and execution processes. Develop and maintain production order processing, material requirements planning (MRP), and bill of materials (BOM). Optimize production processes and integration with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD). SAP QM Configuration: Configure SAP QM module to support quality planning, quality inspection, and quality control processes. Develop and manage quality inspection plans, quality certificates, and defect management. Ensure seamless integration with SAP PP, MM, and other relevant modules. Requirement Analysis: Gather and analyze business requirements related to production and quality management. Translate business requirements into SAP PP/QM functional specifications. Implementation and Support: Lead or participate in SAP PP/QM implementation projects, including system design, configuration, and testing. Provide post-implementation support and resolve issues related to SAP PP/QM functionalities. Develop and conduct end-user training and documentation. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements. Stay updated on SAP best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologies. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, and IT. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. An advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., SAP PP/QM Certification) is a plus. Experience: Proven experience as an SAP PP/QM Consultant or similar role with hands-on experience in SAP PP/QM module configuration and implementation. Experience with end-to-end SAP PP/QM project lifecycle, including requirement gathering, design, testing, and support. Skills: Strong knowledge of SAP PP and QM functionalities, processes, and integration points. Ability to analyze business processes and translate them into SAP solutions. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP ERP and related tools.
