| Title : Database SME - DB2 LUW Location : Clayton, Missouri (Hybrid) Rate : $50 /hour Visa independent candidates Role/ JD: S.No DB2 DBA JD 1 Knowledge on core concepts of DB2 LUW. 2 Extensive experience with planning, documenting and performing upgrades and migration, setting up new database environments. 3 Experience in problem analysis and troubleshooting database related issues. 4 Provide performance tuning support to development teams for resolving issues with space usage, stored procedures, SQL Tuning and application monitoring. 5 Analyze and tune SQL statements and indexes; make performance recommendations to development teams. 6 Understand metadata, metrics, trending, and automation. 7 Advanced scripting skills required. 8 Advise developers for best practice, rollout implementation support. 9 Work with vendor for tuning recommendations. 10 Implement fixpacks and security patches when required. 11 Participate in disaster recovery exercises. 12 Knowledge on DB2 HADR, HACMP.
