Hi, Role- Google Cloud Platform Lead Client- Huntington Bank Location- Can be remote Overview Today the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) hosts over 20 applications in the CMDB and additional 30 applications are slated to be onboarded in GCP by the end of 2024. The GCP Stack Overflow channel currently receives over 20 inquiries per month and is expected to triple by the end of the of 2024. GCP on-call has been pulled into 7 production incidents to troubleshoot issues and will continue to increase with the additional applications. Currently we have four onshore SREs resources and need to expand the team to meet the projected business demand for ITIL, DR, enhancements, and support. Responsibilities Identify onshore coordinator to align with core business hours: 9 AM - 4 PM EST. Assemble and manage the offshore team approved by Huntington. Coordinate on/offshore activities and manage offshore team. On/Off-boarding offshore resources (SNOW, Training, etc.) Support weekly releases on Tuesday & Thursday. 9:15 AM EST to 10:30 AM EST On/Offshore team coverage to provide 24x7 support Onshore Coordinator core hours. Weekdays 9 AM to 9 PM EST Onshore Coordinator meetings with Offshore team. Weekdays 7-9 AM EST Offshore team weekend coverage. Friday 9 PM EST to Monday 9 AM EST Offshore team weekday coverage 9 PM EST to 9 AM EST Huntington L1 SRE team weekday on-call from 9 AM to 9 PM EST and escalation from offshore. Huntington L2 Platform Engineering team daily for L1 escalation Google Cloud Platform(GCP) Monitoring Monitor MS Teams channels and assist GCP community troubleshoot and resolve issues. Service health: Interconnects, Pub/Sub Backlog, Firewall activity, etc. Incident/Alerts Monitor Service Level Agreements Development Activities Maintain GCP documentation Develop SRE capabilities using Terraform and Microsoft ADO Pipeline automation Resolve security issues and findings Post Deployment/Infrastructure release validation Apps, Cyber, Networking, etc. Release Implementation plan Pre-Implementation Validation Post implementation Validation Issue Logs Service Level Documentation Incident Management Incident detection and recording Classification and initial support Investigation and diagnosis Resolution and recovery Incident closure Problem Management Problem Detection Problem Logging Problem Investigation and Diagnosis Problem Closure Root Cause Analysis Additional duties as designated Rate-$60/hr Overview Today the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) hosts over 20 applications in the CMDB and additional 30 applications are slated to be onboarded in GCP by the end of 2024.
