| Role: Senior Java Developer (Only GC and USC with Federal Client Experience is Mandatory) Location: Baltimore, MD (Remote) Long Term Federal Exp; IRS Exp is highly desired Statement of Work: Business Master File Modernization (BMF Mod) is one of multiple programs created to modernize the Internal Revenue Services (IRS) the legacy Tax processing systems and is critical to the IRS IT Application Development (AD) and IRS IT Enterprise Service (ES) organizations goal to support the objectives of the IRS IT Modernization Business Plan. BMF Mods initiative will modernize IRS systems and processes, improve taxpayer experience, increase voluntary compliance, and reduce the Services reliance on costly and unsustainable legacy technology. Task Description: Provide support and assistance to design, development, integrate, test, and deploy a modernized BMF platform and also support day-to-day Operations & Maintenance (O&M) work based on IRS priorities. Provide for project management, O&M, development, modernization, enhancements, software development, legislative changes, and developmental O&M upgrades. Required skills/Level of Experience: * Minimum of 10 years of experience with Architectural frameworks and how to design applications * Senior Java Developer with at least 10 years experience with the following: * Exp with Data Fabric Platform - AWS * Experience designing, developing, and implementing Java-based microservices using Spring Boot framework. * Experience designing, developing and testing Java-based microservices using Java rules engine application using MVEL language (business rules/Java pseudo). * Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and design innovative Java Plugins and Microservices. * Ability to architect and design scalable and reliable Java microservices to meet business requirements. Nice to have skills: * Experience IBM Digital Core Solution * Experience with Kafka and Confluent * Experience with Java Message Service, Core Java, Spring Core , Spring MVC, Spring Batch, Java, Microservices, Spring Boot, AWS services * Active IRS MBI Clearance Highly Desirable -- Keywords: active directory information technology green card Maryland Senior Java Developer [email protected] |
