Role: Azure Databricks Engineer Location: Cincinnati, OH or Yorkville, TN (Only locals) Duration: Contract Experience: Minimum 10+ years Note: Only H1 Visa who can share PP (Dont share GC, GC EAD, H4, OPT/CPT) Role Description: Key Responsibilities: Design and implement data pipelines using Azure Databricks to process, transform, and analyze large volumes of data. Develop and maintain scalable data architectures, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Optimize Databricks clusters for performance, cost efficiency, and reliability. Integrate Databricks with other Azure services such as Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Synapse Analytics. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with data pipelines and Databricks environments. Implement best practices for data security, governance, and compliance within the Databricks environment. Automate workflows and processes to improve the efficiency of data operations. Provide technical guidance and support to team members on Azure Databricks and related technologies. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in big data and cloud technologies. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in data engineering, data analytics, or a similar role. Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and Apache Spark. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scala, or SQL. Strong understanding of big data concepts and technologies, including data lakes, data warehousing, and ETL processes. Experience with Azure services such as Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Factory. Knowledge of data security, governance, and compliance best practices. Ability to optimize Databricks clusters for performance and cost efficiency. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
