Job Title: Power BI Developer Location: Remote - EST hours Visa: USC, GC CANDIDATE MUST HAVE BIOTECH INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE As part of the Data Science and Management team, you will address the needs of scientists and engineers involved in product development, spanning from research to production phases. Required qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Biotechnology, or equivalent. Needs to have Biotech industry experience. Must have >2 years working experience within scientific data solutions in a biotechnology setting >=1 year Experience developing dashboards from complex data models using Power BI, or an alternate Data Visualization tool such as Tableau. Familiarity with at least two database design and querying languages such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle. Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a high level of ownership and seeing assignments through to completion. Strong stakeholder-oriented communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Life Science, Biotechnology, or equivalent. Knowledge of lab processes and operations, and/or experience with greenhouse trials. Highly proficient in Excel, with experience developing functions and VBA macros. Ability to interact with both lab/non-data and data/IT personnel to apply an off-the-shelf data management system based on a collected set of user requirements. Experience in writing software documentation and conducting testing.
