This is a REMOTE position. Read the requirements carefully. Requirements have changed somewhat. The Office of Attorney Generals (OAG) Information Technology unit needs staff augmentation services to assist the team with the modernization of its Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM application. The OAG is looking for a hands-on senior System Architect with deep knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform, including Microsoft Dynamics 365. An expert on Dynamics CRM to design, configure and develop custom solutions in Dynamics 365. The candidate will take an active role in supporting the CRM solution. The candidate will also assist with migrating existing HCL Notes/Domino on-premise data to Dynamics 365, while implementing application enhancements and automation during the upgrade and migration process. We are also looking for a candidate who has knowledge and experience with Power Automate, and Power Pages. The role description includes the following: Responsible for providing senior level expertise on decisions and priorities regarding the Dynamics 365 overall systems architecture. Leads the design of technology solutions including architecting and implementing solutions requiring integration of multiple platforms, operating systems, and applications across the enterprise. Reviews, advises, and designs standard software builds, system options, risks, costs vs. benefits and impact on the Dynamics 365 application business process and goals. Develops and documents the framework for integration and implementation for changes to the Dynamics 365 application. Assists in the development of and manages an architecture governance process. Provides technical guidance to Dynamics 365 application team as appropriate. Tracks industry trends and maintains knowledge of new technologies such are Microsoft Copilot AI to better serve the enterprises architecture needs. Recognize the needs and clearly communicate requirements and ideas to stakeholders, developers and management. Lead the development of Dynamics 365 application features to meet the business needs. Lead development of custom workflows, plugins, reports and Dashboards in Dynamics 365. Lead system integrations between Dynamics 365 and other Microsoft 365 applications. Convey your Dynamics CRM knowledge to developers and business analysts to use existing features in Dynamics and where appropriate, develop custom components Develop detailed design specifications for application features. Follow IT management processes to deliver solutions in the Microsoft Power Platform. Facilitate collaboration and coordinate development activities within an agile development environment. Review solution design and code and provide feedback to the team. Support project planning by providing technical details on tasks, estimates, resource projections and project preparations. Perform root-cause analysis to identify and fix program bugs and issues. Integrate existing systems and services into the dynamics architecture. Assist with deployment and provisioning activities. Create Power Automate and DevOps workflows to automate processes. Develop canvas apps to help enhance user experience and automate processes. Develop secure public facing Power Pages. Specific areas of responsibility: Virtual Machines o Primary responsibility for managing and configuring virtual machines. Deploy virtual machines into virtual networks and create backups to provide disaster recovery, among other responsibilities. Understand and know how to manage Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware vSphere. Responsibilities related to virtual machines also include deploying them into virtual networks, configuring them to have the optimum performance, and backing them up. They should have the skills to optimize virtual machines for optimum cost and security. They should also provide a recovery plan when a virtual machine fails. Data Storage o Responsible for protecting data against threats and unauthorized access. Ensure that data is backed up at regular intervals. Manage storage of application data, user data and database files. Expertise in configuring long-term archival storage.Establish best practice and maintain corporate compliance. Secure data from unauthorized access and backup it up in case of disaster in a way that enables easy and quick restoration after a disaster. Networking o Manage public and private IP addresses. Responsibilities also include deploying and configuring virtual networks. Experienced in establishing and implementing virtual networks. Routing path orchestration even in a hybrid cloud. Experience with different Azure solutions in virtual machines. Able to manage virtual machines public and private IP addresses. Security o Skilled in securing the organizations data and Azure solutions. Knowledge of encrypting data at all times, whether during transit, at rest, or in use. Able to secure Azure Active Directory from cyberattack. Safeguard Azure resources against vulnerability and threats. Resource and Log Analytics Monitoring Able to use log analytics to write Azure monitor log queries. Understand data schema, filter and group results, and create charts.
