| Title: VDOT- Scrum Master (744365) Location: Richmond, VA (Hybrid) Duration: 12 Months PMP/CSM both must/SAFe Azure Data Factory/Data Lake Storage/Event Hub/SQL/Synapse, Google Cloud, Spark, networking, vendor management, site provisioning, governance/Alation/Collibra/Informatica/Microsoft Purview, Agile/Kanban and MS Project Server experience The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Information Technology Division is seeking a senior technical Project Scrum Master to drive the project delivery of the development and implementation of a cloud-based data management platform that will support the agencys data management needs. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of developing and implementing effective cloud-based solutions for complex data management problems. The candidate must have data security, cloud infrastructure, with knowledge of transportation related data preferred. Qualifications Solid understanding of software development life cycle models as well as expert knowledge of Agile project management principles and practices. Experience managing cloud-based solutions for data management and analytics. Ability to work with customers, understand their business practices and manage their expectations. Ability to set clear performance standards and hold team members accountable, while keeping team engaged and on track. Ability to help Product Owners to create and prioritize Product Backlog. Strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building. Strong analytical, organizational and decision-making skills. Ability to analyze and document business and system processes. Ability to balance the competing demands for quality, scope, schedule, and cost. Well-versed with Scrum and Kanban Agile methodologies. PMP and CSM Certifications required. SAFe Certification preferred. Experience with SAFe framework is a plus. Preferred: Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure and software systems, including Azure and Google Cloud.\\ Experience with data processing and storage tools (e.g., Spark, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Event Hub, Azure SQL, Synapse). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Knowledge of transportation data and project management with transportation data is a plus. Experience in IT Infrastructure delivery(networking, physical plant, vendor management, site provisioning) is preferred. Experience managing large, multi-stream projects.
