Appian Developer Remote Responsibilities: Application Development: Design and develop Appian applications by translating business requirements into functional applications. This includes creating data models, process models, business rules, interfaces, and integrations. Solution Architecture: Work with the solution architect to design scalable and efficient solutions within the Appian platform. Ensure the architecture aligns with best practices and enterprise standards. Integration: Develop and implement integration components (e.g., web services, APIs) to connect Appian with other systems (e.g., databases, ERPs, CRMs). User Interface Design: Create user-friendly interfaces using Appians Interface Designer, ensuring a positive user experience and high usability. Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct unit testing and support system integration testing to ensure the application meets the quality standards. Address any issues or defects identified. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of application development processes, configurations, and user manuals to facilitate future maintenance and upgrades. Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing Appian applications, including troubleshooting and bug fixes. Collaboration: Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the delivered solution meets the business requirements and expectations. experience in Appian BPM development. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus. Proficiency in Appian design and development. Experience with Appian Records, Sites, and Process Models. Strong understanding of relational databases (e.g., SQL, Oracle). Experience in Java, JavaScript, HTML, and other web technologies.
