Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Engineering Project Manager to lead and manage complex engineering projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of engineering principles, and experience in project management. The Engineering Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring projects meet technical, budgetary, and scheduling goals, and delivering high-quality results aligned with the companys objectives. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning & Management: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timeline, budget, resources, and risk management strategies. Monitor and adjust project plans as necessary. Team Coordination: Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and working towards project objectives. Facilitate communication among engineers, designers, contractors, and other relevant teams. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success. Proactively address issues and resolve conflicts. Budget & Resource Management: Track project budgets, manage resources effectively, and ensure efficient use of time and materials. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all engineering work meets the required quality standards, codes, and regulations. Conduct regular project reviews and audits. Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and timely communication with stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and vendors. Provide regular progress reports and updates. Documentation: Oversee the creation and maintenance of accurate project documentation, including schedules, reports, technical specifications, and project files. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve project management processes and implement best practices. Qualifications & Skills: Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering project management, preferably in [Specify Industry: e.g., construction, manufacturing, software, etc.]. Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable. Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, etc.), and familiarity with engineering tools and methodologies.
