Job Description: Experience w/ DMVPN, BGP, SD WAN for 1000 locations - ACI & ACI Multi-Site (Design, Drive & Implement connecting two DCs). Biggest priority being ACI & ACI Multi-site as anyone with experience doing this should have experience w/ the other areas. About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Core Network Architect with expertise in Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) and Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data center solutions, with a strong focus on ACI Multi-Site architecture. This role requires a deep understanding of data center interconnectivity, network troubleshooting, and the ability to work on complex network issues. Key Responsibilities: Design and Architecture: Develop and implement data center architectures, focusing on ACI Multi-Site solutions to ensure scalability, resiliency, and security. Evaluate and recommend data center technologies and solutions that align with business and technical requirements. Network Troubleshooting: Dedicate approximately 40% of the time to troubleshooting and resolving network issues to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of network issues. Implementation and Maintenance: Lead the deployment of ACI Multi-Site environments, including configuration and integration with existing network infrastructure. Maintain and optimize data center operations, ensuring high availability and reliability. Automation and Analytics: Leverage automation tools and analytics to streamline data center operations and improve efficiency. Implement and manage automation scripts for Day 0 through Day 2 operations. Collaboration and Training: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data center solutions. Provide training and mentorship to junior network engineers and IT staff on ACI and data center best practices. Required Skills and Qualifications: Certifications: CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) certification is mandatory. Experience: Proven experience in designing and implementing data center solutions, with a strong focus on ACI Multi-Site architecture. Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of Cisco ACI, including Multi-Site and Multi-Pod architectures. Proficiency in spine-leaf fabric architecture and VXLAN (Virtual Extensible LAN) with MP-BGP (Multiprotocol Border Gateway Protocol) EVPN (Ethernet VPN) control plane. Strong troubleshooting skills and experience in resolving complex network issues. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with data center interconnectivity solutions and cloud connectivity. Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages. Knowledge of modern data center design considerations, including security, segmentation, and integration with existing networks.
