Title - SAP EDI Logistics Analyst Location : Houston, TX Onsite Duration : 6+ months Visa : USC/GC Duration : 6+ months Need strong experience with Logistics or supply chain The Systems and Optimization Analyst is responsible for monitoring and resolving daily EDI issues, enhancing transactional data for transportation logistics needs, developing data analytic dashboards for enhanced data visibility and transactional data monitoring, ensuring the data integrity of transportation logistics data and processes. This position provides exposure to the overall system process improvement within our clients Commercial Organization and value chain while allowing individuals that demonstrate aptitude and initiative, increased opportunities for advancement. Responsibilities may include: Monitor the SAP R/3 SCD (Shipment Cost Documents) and SAP S/4 VDB (Vendor Billing Documents), and vended solutions (error logs) in support of Bulk Truck and Rail Logistics Support Business Unit requests related to the overall freight accrual process Streamline the process of maintaining freight rates to support the freight rate processing Monitor daily Rail BOL transmissions and facilitate Rail EDI BOL error resolution, including Truck EDI 210 Identify areas of improvement for error monitoring (i.e. EDI, system error logs) in support of Bulk Truck and Rail Logistics Enhance the freight rate processes and support of transportation logistics Ensure data integrity for the systems in scope of transportation logistics Enhance control reports to ensure data integrity in Truck and Rail Systems Develop and propose new analytics, tools and reports using Alteryx, Tableau, and Power BI to enhance data visibility and facilitate improved decision making and freight payment processing Interface/collaborate with key business stakeholders to develop reports and KPIs to provide transparent and timely access to logistics data Support in building KPIs for ST&L group to better measure performance and drive continuous improvement Work cross-functionally and be accountable for delivering results within time commitments Provide continuous communications of project progress to customers and stakeholders Demonstrate guidance to the Systems and Optimization organization for continuous analytical reporting and error monitoring Participate in special projects/cross functional efforts or provide backups as needed Own business process development, improvement, optimization, and sustainability for assigned Commercial functions and stakeholders Determine process gaps and root causes on incorrectly processed Rail BOLs for successful rail freight payment processing (Routes, EDI Error Logs etc.) Execute exception reports to enhance the monitoring of Global supply chain and transportation logistics process improvements Enhance and generate performance analytics and metrics such as Rail EDI (Electronic Data Interface) monitoring, VBD (Vendor Billing Document) monitoring, rate processing monitoring, and invoice data monitoring Collaborate with IT to execute SAP system changes to improve transportation logistics needs and process improvements Collaborate with IT on continuous business requirements in the freight accrual and transactional processes within logistics for continuous improvement Provide subject matter expertise in global supply chain systems, processes, functions, performance tools and interconnectivity to drive business performance improvements Create and enhance analytics for storage activity, rail utilization inbound/outbound rail activity within facilities, rail lease expiration, predictive analytics for embargoes, and transloading Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree Working knowledge of SAP High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, & PowerPoint) Knowledge of supply chain and/or transaction processing Minimum 6 years of related experience with 2 or more years of experience in Commercial, Procurement, Transportation or Logistics support function Attention to detail, strong organizational skills Able to adapt and learn quickly Business aptitude to understand Commercial operations Thanks and Regards, Pritam Das Sr. I.T Recruiter TEK Inspirations Pvt.
