This role involves active participation in stakeholder and working team meetings, with a focus on managing project activities, establishing deliverables, and mitigating any obstacles to project execution. The Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing all ongoing work and deliverables, working closely with the Digital Service Design team.Key Responsibilities: Workstream Management: Manage workstreams for the development of nyc.gov, ensuring the delivery of high-quality digital experiences on time. Project Tracking: Establish and track project deliverables, helping to mitigate obstacles in executing work plans for project activities, sprints, or phases. Sprint Management: Lead and manage sprint planning and task management to ensure efficient project execution. Monitoring & Documentation: Monitor project activities, document agreements, communicate with stakeholders, and escalate issues in a timely manner. Deadline Management: Establish deadlines and monitor project progress, following up with relevant stakeholders to ensure milestones are met. Meeting Facilitation: Facilitate meetings with teams and stakeholders, providing clear, prioritized agendas, timely recaps, and driving resolution of next steps.Mandatory Qualifications: Candidates must meet the following mandatory qualifications to be considered: Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience managing web projects. Web Launch Expertise: Demonstrated experience in driving websites and web features to launch, with a focus on detail and quality user experiences. Agile Project Management: Deep knowledge of agile project management practices, with experience leading sprints in a large organization and proactive planning. Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Experience collaborating with other disciplines to launch digital tools and services. Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with leadership, experts, and decision-makers across teams. Agile & Modern Practices: Knowledge of agile methodologies and modern software development practices.
