Job Title: Sr. Backend Integrations Engineer Type: 6-12mon Contract (with possible conversion) Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid, 1 Day Onsite) Visa: USC/GC Candidates Note: Heavy Integrations experience in a Food/Retail environment is the key. Job Description: Responsibilities: Integration Solution Design: Lead the design and architecture of integration solutions leveraging Azure-based integration and event-driven technologies, encompassing Web APIs, Web Hooks, C#, and other relevant tools. Technical Implementation: Hands-on development using C# and Azure services to build robust integration components, ensuring seamless connectivity and scalability across distributed systems. System Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analysis of existing systems to identify integration points, data mapping, and optimization opportunities. Architecture Development: Define and implement scalable integration architectures using Azure-based technologies, adhering to best practices, and ensuring alignment with project objectives. Team Leadership: Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to both onshore and offshore development teams, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing to drive technical excellence. Code Review and Quality Assurance: Conduct regular code reviews to maintain high-quality code standards, optimize performance, and ensure adherence to coding guidelines across distributed teams. Collaboration and Communication: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among onshore and offshore teams, ensuring clear alignment with project milestones and objectives. Product Experience: Leverage previous experience working in a product-based organization to understand customer needs, contribute to product roadmap discussions, and align integration solutions with product lifecycle stages. Client Interaction: Act as a technical liaison with product teams, shaping integration requirements, providing technical consultation, and ensuring client satisfaction with integration solutions. Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the integration team, identifying areas for optimization, implementing best practices, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Required Skills: Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience. Proven experience (10 years +) in software development with a focus on integration solutions. Proficiency in C# development with a deep understanding of object-oriented programming principles. Strong expertise in Azure-based integration and event-driven technologies, including but not limited to Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, Azure Event Grid, etc. Experience collaborating with both onshore and offshore development teams in a leadership capacity. Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a track record of successfully guiding distributed teams towards project success. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex systems and propose effective integration solutions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across geographical and cultural boundaries. Experience with Agile methodologies and practices is a plus. Experience with Azure DevOps is a plus. Must Haves: SQL. C#. Informatica (Not an informatica developer, but a developer with strong informatica knowledge). Real time integration engineering. Someone who understands scale, and efficiency. Real time data flow.
