| Lead SQL SERVER/QLIK/Mainframe Data Engineer/Architect (NOT A BIG DATA OR CLOUD DATA ENGINEER, IF THAT IS ALL THEIR RECENT EXPERIENCE I WILL NOT RESPOND TO THEIR Submission) Duration: 6 Months to start likely at least 2 years of work Location: 100% Remote Interview process: 1 Step Start Date: ASAP Duties: 1 Must have experience working with mainframe DB2 and SQL server databases, schemas, stored procedures & functions. 2 AT LEAST 10 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE POST DEGREE COMPLETION 3 Must have hands on experience with migrating databases to SQL server using SQL server migration assistant (SSMA). 4 Must have experience in converting databases & objects of monolithic applications to a microservice landscape. 5 Should have thorough knowledge and understanding of real-time CDC replication using tools like Qlik replicate or Precisely connect. 6 Should be capable of leading a team of data engineers to archive unused databases & file systems to low cost storage options on-prem or cloud. 7 Should be completely aware of the data security regulations within the healthcare industry like PHI/PII and design solutions accordingly. 8 Should have experience leading large scale data migration projects, understanding boundary system impacts, communicating promptly with all stakeholders and identifying risks/mitigation strategies. 9 Mentor a team of data engineers and lead them to achieve data migration milestones in a timely manner. 10 Candidate must be based out of US mainland (citizen, green card or work visas).
