Role: Oracle ETL Architect Location: Albany, New York Duration: 30 Months Job ID: SLG - 19 - 9759 Client: NY State Respond by Date: 08/20/24 5:00 PM Description This position will design and implement software solutions and assure current and new technologies are effectively integrated to fulfill the business needs. Duties Manages ETL solutions for data warehouse projects. Perform ETL application analysis, design, development and implementation, including: data analysis, data access, data structures, data manipulation, data reporting solutions, database, and technical and user documentation. Act as the primary ETL technical liaison working with technical infrastructure teams to resolve problems and implement solutions to technical issues impacting application performance. Work with the Infrastructure team to execute activities such as performance test planning and execution failure failover planning and execution, endurance testing and deployment planning and testing. Perform oversight of development activities which may include data analysis, data access, data structures, data manipulation, preparing logical database models, testing and implementation. Prepare, and/or review technical documentation such as designs, schemas, etc., as appropriate. Provide technical guidance to team of developers. Mandatory Requirements Experience (12+ Years) Makes high-level design choices and dictates technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. Designs multi-leveled architecture or component interactions of a large scale software system. Requirements This is an 100% Onsite 84 months experience developing ETL/E-LT objects including Interfaces, Packages, Scenarios and Procedures and load strategies for relational, Type 1, 2, and 3 slowly changing dimensions using Oracle Data Integrator. 84 months experience writing technical specifications including ETL source to target mapping documents, use cases, software architecture documents, ETL design documents and implementation documents. 84 months experience in writing and tuning SQL scripts including: tables, views, indexes, and complex PL/SQL objects including: procedures, functions, triggers, and packages in Oracle database 12G or higher. 84 months experience working with Oracle Data Integrator 11g or later. 60 months experience as a technical team lead responsible for data warehouse and ETL platform architecture. 36 months experience developing, implementing, and integrating systems related to Criminal Justice processing at the state or federal level using Criminal Justice terminology and nomenclatures.
