Should be able to pull information from database, analyse the data and put forward meaningful insights. Use SQL, join tables, pull out information from multiple databases and sources within FT. Should have knack to discover the data, analyse it and provide solutions. BA should possess financial knowledge as data can be related to multiple fields within financial world. Skills required (from FT perspective) Good communication skills. Technical skills (Knowledge of database servers, SQL, SQL queries). Requirement elicitation, interaction with Technical and Business stakeholders. List is not exhaustive. PL/SQL Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Oracle databases (12c and above), UNIX scripting, Java, and modern DevOps tools. This role requires a strong background in investment business knowledge and proficiency in using version control systems and automation tools. Key Responsibilities: PL/SQL Development: Design, develop, and optimize PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, and triggers in Oracle 12c or higher. Database Management: Ensure high performance, security, and reliability of Oracle databases. Perform database tuning and troubleshooting. UNIX Scripting: Develop and maintain UNIX shell scripts (versions 6/7/8) for automation and data manipulation. Java Development: Work with Java v6 and above, including integration with JMS (Java Messaging Service) for enterprise messaging. Version Control: Utilize Git for version control, manage code repositories, and collaborate on code changes. AWS: Utilize AWS services for deployment, scalability, and management of applications. CI/CD Tools: Implement and manage continuous integration and deployment processes using tools such as Harness or Jenkins. Issue Tracking: Use JIRA for issue tracking and project management. Job Scheduling: Manage job scheduling using tools like Autosys or Korn Job (JCL software experience a plus). Investment Business Knowledge: Apply expertise in investment business processes to ensure solutions align with business needs and regulatory requirements.
