Must gave Local DMV Client: DC Govt Title: Network Engineer Location: hybrid in Washington DC-Only DMV candidate Duration: 12 Months Visa: No OPT ,CPT MOI: Skype Certification required and need Certification Copy Qualifications Network Knowledge Requirements Data center architecture, Network engineering, LINUX/UNIX, Servers, Router, Switch. Virtualization and cloud technologies-AWS/Azure. Knowledge of Cisco WAN and LAN hardware and software and the ability to install and configure and implement switching and routing technologies. Experience in the following Cisco platform is essential: Catalyst 3500/4500/4700, Nexus 3000/7000, ASR routers, ISR routers. Knowledge and experience with configuring and managing network firewalls, including Application, Statefull and NextGen platforms. Knowledge and experience with configuring and managing VPN connectivity using IPSec and SSL. Knowledge and experience configuring and managing authentication systems using RSA 2-form factor, RADIUS, TACACS+ and LDAP. Knowledge and experience configuring and managing Layer 3 vlan switching, BGP and OSPF Routing Protocols. Knowledge and experience configuring and managing UNIX/Linux based OS servers and appliances. Skilled at network troubleshooting procedures and best practices. Expertise in network management systems and tools such as Wireshark Software Repository and Build Machine Maintenance, O S loading and u pdates An understanding of Unix/Linux system infrastructure. Backup & recovery methods and tooling Experience with DNS, SMTP, SNMP, TCP, UDP, IP, IPv4 addressing and CIDR/ VLSM, OSPF, QoS and VoIP. Ability to develop and present network diagrams in Visio. Experience with common server monitoring tools (e.g. Nagios, SCOM) and strong scripting skills for custom tools and reports (VBScript, PowerShell, Perl, Bash, etc.) Expertise with Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS) and wired infrastructure, and network security, Perform network related tasks, including configuration of Cisco ISR routers, switches (3750, 4500, 6500 and Nexus 7K), ASA5500, ACS (AAA), Radius, Tacacs+ IOS, QOS. Thorough understanding of 802.11 based wireless architecture, specifically Cisco Wireless LAN Configuration in Commercial, Manufacturing, Warehouse, and, Outdoor environments. Configuration of both autonomous and Light Weight Access Point Solutions, including Clean Air, Wireless Control System, WCS Navigator, Mobility services engine and Cisco ISE. Conduct wireless site surveys utilizing spectrum analysis technologies, recommend and implement corrective action. Configuration of Wireless Security Platforms, including intrusion prevention and clean access solutions. Provide detailed network drawings and diagrams and relation as-built documentation. QUALIFICATIONS: 8-10 years of experience working in an administrative capacity, network (Route/Switch) engineering. Cloud Technology Experience (Azure or AWS), advanced firewall expereince,Checkpoint or similar. 3+ years experience in Unix/Linux administration. 3+ years experience in wireless, security engineering. Extensive technical experience creating design specifications, implementing, architecture, availability, reliability, performance, monitoring and security of the portal.
