Location- New Jersey, NJ Technology : TACL, Tandem, COBOL, SQL, TAL, C/C++ with Unix and Windows Role Overview The Tandem Tech Lead is responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing applications that run on Tandem NonStop systems. The role requires in-depth knowledge of Tandem architecture, coding, and debugging skills, and the ability to work closely with other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions. Also, Tech lead should be able to mange a small team of Tandem developer and sr. developer from technical perspective Key Responsibilities: Application Development and team handling Skills and Knowledge: Understanding of card payment domain TAL knowledge is must C language knowledge is must Solution oriented proactive individual contributor Knowledge of Authentication, Authorization and Verification of transaction Knowledge of simulators like VTS, Finsim, Mastercard simulators etc. Experience building interfaces modules for Bank host, Card Management system and Networks (visa/master card) 8 to 10 years of experience in Tandem Development Should be good with TAL, TACL skills Willing to work as an individual contributor Strong programming and analytical skills Good communication and problem-solving skills Knowledge of financial services industry Team management ability Knowledge of modern development practices, such as Agile or DevOps, in the context of Tandem systems. Responsibilities- Provides application software development services typically in a defined project. Develops program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications. Codes, tests, debugs, documents, implements and maintains software applications. Maintains, tests and integrates application components. Ensures system improvements are successfully implemented. Work on the specific module assigned Participate in the scrum meetings Participate in the integration testing Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and participate in system testing to ensure the application meets functional and performance requirements. Follow established coding standards and development practices to maintain high code quality. Security and Compliance Code review for self as well as for peers Ensure that applications comply with security standards and regulatory requirements. Implement and maintain security features in applications to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access. Work closely with business analysts and end-users to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Collaborate with other developers and IT staff to ensure seamless integration of applications and systems. Prepare documentation, including technical specifications, design documents, and user manuals.
