Thank you in advance. Job Title: SQL and NoSQL DBA Location: Irving, TX (Hybrid) Duration: Long term contract on C2C/W2 Job Description: 1. Install, configure, patch, and upgrade database software ( SQL Server Or any of the NoSQL like Cassandra, Mongo, Elastic Search) 2. Should have working experience in python or any equivalent scripting language to develop and maintain data pipelines in/out of SQL/NoSQL 3. Should have working knowledge of AWS Cloud Infrastructure and Linux OS 4. Should have working experience with AWS Lambda 5. Work with Development team to help determine and deploy the best datastore technology and data model strategy for their needs 6. Work with Development team to understand the Application requirement and design database schema accordingly 7. Manage the operations for both development and production databases 8. Create and configure Alerts to health check the servers and the databases running on them 9. Design, implement, maintain and automate the appropriate backup and recovery architecture as required 10. Work with internal teams to plan and schedule application upgrades 11. Troubleshoot SQL\\NoSQL issues and performance bottlenecks 12. Minimum 3 days to the office every week. if needed, should be willing to come to the office on any day. 13. 24 x 7 On call support for any PROD issues.
