Job Title :- Quality Assurance Analyst Location - Remote Duration :- Contract Job Summary As a part of the Enterprise Data Engineering & Enablement (EDEE) team, this role will be on the front edge of the new era of data enablement across the enterprise. The Quality Assurance Analyst role will be responsible for supporting the planning and execution of system testing on simple to complex implementations. This role initiates tests, analyzes results, troubleshoots systems, document results and collaborates with teams to find solutions to technical problems. The QA Analyst will work collaboratively within the IT department and business units to execute and validate test cases based upon system requirements. You will work with internal and external customers to test data for different initiatives that are critical to client. Job Responsibilities: Execute test cases for applications based on requirements and technical specifications Works with business functional and technical test plans on moderately complex application implementation and development. Executes the testing of technology systems ensuring quality and efficient systems performance Experience in testing in different environments using Databricks, multiple browsers, testing web-services, back-end processing and data validation utilizing SQL and API Tools Demonstrated experience with industry standard Quality Assurance best practices for Agile and Iterative SDLCs, testing methodologies, version control systems, implementation, and deployment activities. Experience in, system testing, data warehouse migration testing, data integrity testing and data transformation related testing. Creates and executes various testing documentation (including plans, conditions, and scripts) based on technical and user requirements. Provides feedback of testing results to development teams ensuring fixes or enhancements are incorporated prior to scheduled releases. Ensures all applications adhere to high quality standards. Assist in the execution of integration or end-to-end testing with client systems or programs. Research best practices to determine quality improvement initiatives and utilization standards. Record and document results and compare to expected results Analyze testing from the client's perspective Improve the maturity of the regression scripting and execution process Works with an open and collaborative style Participate in application planning meetings Work in an Agile development team Ability to work afterhours as needed Job Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience 8+ years of quality assurance experience required Must have 2+ years with Databricks Must have experience executing test cases, test plans and test scripts Must have 4+ years writing and reading SQL Must have experience with Zephyr Experience with Jira and Python required Analytically strong with Excel Experience with functional, regression, ad-hoc and extensive software testing Must have the ability to maintain test plans and test results Self-starter and active learner Must have excellent problem-solving skills Must be very detail oriented Must have outstanding written and verbal communication skills Soft Skills: Proactive, not reactive Self-starter Detail-Oriented Proactive in finding and resolving a wide range of technical and process issues Organized and able to track multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines for each project Interested in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues Able to learn a wide range of new topics simultaneously Able to understand key details or components of complex products and seek out relevant information independently to quickly learn and understand these products in depth.
