Job Title: SAP Event Management (EM) Consultant Client: Bio-Rad Laboratories (IBM) Location: Remote, CA Visa Restrictions: No H1B/CPT Number of Positions: 1 Job Overview: Bio-Rad Laboratories, in collaboration with IBM, is seeking a highly skilled SAP Event Management (EM) Consultant with deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA's embedded Transportation Management (TM) module. This role involves working on complex, global deployments, focusing particularly on the Event Management (EM) component of the TM module. Key Responsibilities: SAP TM and EM Expertise: o Provide expert guidance and leadership in the implementation, configuration, and optimization of SAP S/4HANA embedded TM, with a specific focus on the Event Management (EM) module. o Collaborate with global teams to ensure successful deployment and integration of the TM EM module across multiple locations. o Lead workshops and training sessions to ensure that all stakeholders are fully equipped to utilize the TM EM functionalities. Project Management: o Participate in and sometimes lead SAP project implementations, ensuring alignment with business processes and requirements. o Work closely with other SAP modules (such as SD, MM, and LE) to ensure seamless integration and data flow. Troubleshooting and Optimization: o Identify and resolve issues related to the TM and EM modules. o Optimize and enhance existing processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. o Provide post-implementation support and ongoing optimization to ensure the system continues to meet business needs. Documentation and Compliance: o Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to the TM and EM implementations. o Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards and internal processes. Required Experience and Skills: SAP TM Expertise: o At least 6-8 years of experience in SAP Transportation Management (TM), with significant hands-on experience in global deployments. o Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA embedded TM, particularly in the Event Management (EM) module. Project Implementation Experience: o Proven track record of successful SAP TM and EM module implementations across multiple global locations. o Experience working in a fast-paced, project-oriented environment with tight deadlines. Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: o Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capability to troubleshoot complex issues and provide effective solutions. o Excellent analytical skills with a focus on optimizing business processes. Communication and Collaboration: o Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with global teams and stakeholders. o Ability to lead workshops and training sessions, ensuring clear understanding and adoption of SAP TM EM functionalities. Additional Information: Remote Work: This is a fully remote position; candidates should be comfortable working in the Pacific Time Zone.
