Job Title: Manufacturing Associate / Biotechnologist Associate Location: Portsmouth, NH 03801 Duration: 12 Months Job Type: Contract Work Type: Onsite Night Shift: 07:00 PM to 07:00 AM Shift Type: 12 Hours rotating shift Position Description The Manufacturing Associate is responsible for the manufacture of therapeutic proteins (API) under cGMP conditions. Level I associates are expected to execute process recipes, follow written procedures (SOPs), monitor equipment and processes, perform basic laboratory tasks, including pH, conductivity, and sampling, and conduct routine sanitization tasks to maintain facility and equipment. They are expected to attain a basic understanding of cGMP compliance while training under close supervision, demonstrating aseptic techniques in handling products and materials. 40% Set up, operate equipment, and monitor production processes, including clean-in-place (CIP) and steam-in-place (SIP) operations and report production in written and electronic documents by good manufacturing practice (GMPs) and good documentation procedures (GDPs), review documentation as appropriate 20% Attain qualification for all assigned tasks and maintain an individual training plan 10% Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as monitoring pH, and conductivity, testing product samples, etc. 10% Perform material movements, transfer raw materials, and chemicals into, out of, and across the production areas. 10% Maintain facility and equipment through routine cleaning and sanitization, support 6S programs 10% Administrative tasks attending shift exchange, meetings, sending/receiving emails, participating in projects, performing other duties as assigned. Required Skills High School Diploma or Equivalent minimum; AS/BS preferred Preferred area of study: Science-related discipline 0-3 years experience; some prior experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
