Please find the below JD and share your interest, Job Title: Accessibility Tester Location: Tempe, AZ Duration: Long term Onsite (Day-1) Must have skills: Accessibility testing Compliance Management Job Description: Essential Job Functions Supervises and matures the accessibility compliance program, policies, reporting, and practices for product & engineering teams. Serves as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert on accessibility with the product & engineering teams and across the organization. Advocates for accessibility and inclusive design principles in all aspects of product development. Liaises with product and engineering leaders to provide technical guidance and support to ensure accessibility is considered and implemented at every stage of the development lifecycle. Monitors activities impacted by regulatory and customer requirements related to accessibility. Conducts accessibility audits and assessment of existing products and platforms to identify areas for improvement. Maintains VPATs/ACRs for all products through internal testing and third-party assessments. Interfaces with customer-facing teams to keep marketing and sales materials related to Imagine Learnings accessibility compliance are current and accurate. Develops and supports communication and training initiatives that inform stakeholders about accessibility requirements and best practices. Evaluates and implements new tools, technologies, and strategies to improve/scale/automate auditing, monitoring, and reporting systems. Collaborates with and works alongside various teams including Product Management, Engineering, and other compliance teams to develop and mature an accessibility compliance program that adheres to applicable laws and regulations. Qualifications 4+ years of related experience with a bachelors degree; or 3 years with a masters degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience Ability to transform complex data into easily understood, actionable information Expertise with ADA, Section 508, and WCAG 2.x standards and best practices Experience with industry-recognized accessibility tools and technologies (e.g., NVDA, VoiceOver, JAWS, WAVE, etc.) Experience in risk management or auditing and generating VPATs/ACRs Experience auditing internal policies, procedures, and controls and correcting non-compliance Experience in developing, executing, and monitoring accessibility projects Experience with Agile methodologies and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices, particularly in a public cloud environment (i.e., AWS) Professionalism and a high ethical standard are expected for this position Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including a strong grasp of modern collaboration tools such as Miro, Office365 suite, PowerBI, Teams, Slack, Atlassian Jira/Confluence, etc. Experience or expertise with accessibility within an educational context preferred Keywords: Arizona Need Accessibility Tester - Tempe, AZ (Onsite) [email protected] |
