You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a highly scalable suite of products and applications. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team including product managers, UX designers, architects, principal engineers, software engineers, test automation teams, and DevOps engineers to deliver high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities: Architectural Design & System Analysis: Participate in architectural design, system analysis, and programming activities. Conduct independent research and study as needed. Software Development: Develop high-quality, production-ready software using best-practice data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and frameworks. Ensure software is maintainable, scalable, responsive, and secure. Code Quality: Write high-quality code with a focus on scalability, security, and performance. Oversee end-to-end processes from conception to delivery and production support, including specifications, quality, release deployments, and monitoring of production health. Documentation: Produce clear, complete, and readable technical documentation for all developed components. Foster a team culture of thorough documentation. Testing & Quality Assurance: Ensure code quality through test-driven development and continuous delivery principles. Utilize test automation frameworks wherever possible. Code Reviews & Mentorship: Participate in code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor software engineers. Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering leadership, Product Managers, Designers, Test Automation, and other teams to define, prioritize, scope, and drive business and functional requirements. Performance Monitoring: Instrument infrastructure and application performance monitoring, including capacity management, alerting, tools instrumentation, and KPI management. Impact Assessment: Perform impact assessments of product (hardware, software) upgrades. Project Management: Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing engineering projects. Support & Collaboration: Support and collaborate with other engineers through evaluation, design analysis, and development phases. Compliance & Knowledge Maintenance: Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures, ensure competency and compliance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams as a technical expert. Skills/Experience: Proficiency in Java for building services and microservices (Restful with JSON, SOAP with XML). Experience with design patterns, algorithms, and innovative methodologies. Knowledge of Oracle Database interaction technologies (Hibernate, JDBC, SQL). Familiarity with Git/GitHub or other distributed version control systems. Experience with CI/CD systems (Jenkins, CloudBees). Preferred: IVR Technology, VUIs (Call Flows), Contact Center operations, Telephony, multi-channel capabilities. Preferred: Knowledge of Nuance MIX, Genesys Pure Cloud, UI frameworks (Angular, React, Node). Preferred: Natural Language and Voice Biometrics. Preferred: AGILE methodologies, JIRA, Confluence. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, and drive for excellence. Ability to troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, recommend corrective actions, and lead resolution efforts.
