As a Workday Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our Workday applications through thorough testing and validation. Your role will involve designing test plans, executing test cases, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues.Key Responsibilities: Test Planning and Execution: Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional and technical requirements. Conduct end-to-end testing of Workday applications, including core HR, finance, and other modules as applicable. Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects and issues using a defect management tool. Work closely with developers and business analysts to resolve issues and validate fixes. Test Data Management: Prepare and manage test data to ensure comprehensive coverage and accurate testing. Perform data validation and ensure data integrity throughout the testing process. Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test results. Provide regular status updates and reports on testing progress, defects, and overall quality. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and development teams to understand requirements and ensure alignment on testing goals.
