Role : Sr Cloud Azure Engineer Lead Duration : Long Term Contract Location : Neenah, WI (onsite ) Note : Manufacturing Domain JOB DESCRIPTION As a senior member of the cloud engineering team, this position will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing the cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and security. The Senior Cloud Engineers expertise will drive innovation and enable delivery of cutting-edge solutions to our clients. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Lead the design and architecture of complex cloud solutions primarily in Microsoft Azure, considering performance, availability, security, and cost optimization. Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, networking, storage, and security measures. Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement continuous integration and deployment pipelines, ensuring seamless application deployments and updates.-MUST HAVE Develop and maintain automation scripts and Infrastructure as Code (IAC) templates using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Puppet.-MUST HAVE Monitor and optimize cloud resources to ensure efficient utilization, cost-effectiveness, and optimal performance. Implement and maintain robust security controls, identity and access management, and compliance standards across cloud environments. Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud services, networking, and infrastructure components. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior cloud engineers, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth. Collaborate with cloud service providers (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) to ensure alignment with best practices, access to support, and utilization of latest features. Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, architectural diagrams, and operational procedures. LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES None QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors degree in IT or a related field preferred. Must have at least 4 - 6 years of related experience in Information Technology. Must have at least 3 4 years of experience in Microsoft Azure. Deep understanding of cloud computing concepts, virtualization, networking, security, and storage. Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as PowerShell or Bash. Experience supporting major infrastructure migration initiatives is preferred. Property/casualty insurance background and jewelry industry experience are helpful, but not required. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Microsoft, Google, AWS, Cisco, VMware, Citrix, PowerShell- MUST HAVE PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects or controls; and talk or hear.
