Job Summary Comcast are seeking a talented and experienced Mid-Level Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software development principles and a proven ability to design, develop, and implement robust software solutions. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams across the organization to achieve a robust end product with world-class customer experience. Job Description What You'll Do: Design, develop, and maintain software applications using various programming languages and technologies with the X1 Xfinity Platform. Collaborate with product owners, designers, and other engineers to define product requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Perform unit testing and integration testing to ensure software quality. Troubleshoot, resolve, and enhance data software to provide a better overall candidate experience for our products within the X1 Platform. Stay up-to-date with the latest software development trends and technologies. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. What You'll Need: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5 years of professional software development experience. Proficiency in Python and/or Java Strong understanding of microservices Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) Strong understanding of testing/accessing APIs via curl and tools such as Postman, Insomnia, etc. Experience with version control systems (Git). Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
