| Direct client position Position: Angular Developer with .NET Duration: 1 Year Location: St. Paul, Minnesota (Onsite from Day 1) Client: State of Minnesota Candidate must be local to Minnesota Job Summary: We are looking for a talented Angular Developer with experience in .NET to join our development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality, responsive web applications using Angular for the front end and .NET for the backend. This role requires strong technical skills in both frontend and backend development to deliver robust, scalable, and efficient software solutions. Key Responsibilities: Frontend Development: Design and implement dynamic and interactive user interfaces using Angular (version 2+), ensuring responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility. Backend Development: Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using .NET technologies (e.g., ASP.NET Core, .NET Framework) to support frontend functionalities. Integration: Connect Angular front-end components with backend services and databases through RESTful APIs and other integration methods. Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Follow best practices, coding standards, and conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables. Database Management: Develop and interact with databases using technologies such as SQL Server or Entity Framework, ensuring effective data management and performance. Testing & Debugging : Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging to ensure application stability and performance. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with UX/UI designers, product managers, and other developers to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement features. Documentation: Maintain clear documentation for codebases, development processes, and system designs to support ongoing maintenance and future development. Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance development practices and application performance. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Experience: Proven experience as an Angular Developer with solid experience in .NET development. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Angular (version 2+), including experience with Angular CLI, modules, components, services, and RxJS. Strong understanding of .NET technologies (e.g., ASP.NET Core, .NET Framework). Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript. Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration techniques. Experience with SQL Server or other relational databases, including ORM tools like Entity Framework. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team. Adaptability to evolving technologies and project requirements. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS) and deployment pipelines. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Familiarity with front-end build tools and task runners (e.g., Webpack, Gulp).
