The ideal candidate will have extensive operational experience with equipment, assets, production, warehouse, and inventory management. This role requires deep expertise in SAPs toolset, particularly in operational reporting, asset/equipment reliability, and insights reporting. Additionally, experience with outage management systems (OMS), incident management systems (IMS), and maintenance operations centers (MOC) is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities: SAP Consulting & Solution Design: Lead the design and implementation of SAP solutions tailored to mining and safety operations. Develop and enhance operational reporting tools within SAP to monitor the status and breakdown instances of field equipment and assets. Provide insights into equipment and asset usage, leveraging SAP's advanced toolset. Operational & Safety Expertise: Utilize your background in mining operations, EHS, and safety operations to advise on best practices and integrate safety standards into SAP solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that SAP solutions align with operational goals and safety regulations. Asset & Equipment Management: Design and implement reports and dashboards for asset/equipment reliability and insights using SAP tools. Work closely with operational teams to enhance the efficiency of equipment and asset management through data-driven insights. Outage & Incident Management: Integrate and optimize SAP solutions for outage management systems (OMS), incident management systems (IMS), and maintenance operations centers (MOC). Develop strategies to minimize downtime and improve response times through effective SAP-based reporting and monitoring. Process & KPI Management: Design and implement process and operational KPIs, balanced scorecards, and quality management reports. Ensure that SAP solutions support continuous improvement initiatives and drive operational excellence. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders across safety, operational, and IT teams. Provide training and support to end-users to maximize the value derived from SAP solutions. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience as an SAP Consultant, with a focus on mining operations and safety. Strong background in EHS, safety operations, and mining industry practices. Extensive operational experience, including working with equipment, assets, production, warehouse, and inventory management. Proven experience with SAP tools for operational reporting, asset management, and reliability insights. Hands-on experience designing and implementing outage management systems (OMS), incident management systems (IMS), and maintenance operations centers (MOC). Experience with process and operational KPIs, balanced scorecards, and quality management. Technical Skills: Expertise in SAP modules such as PM (Plant Maintenance), EAM (Enterprise Asset Management), and QM (Quality Management). Proficiency in SAP reporting tools such as SAP BW, SAP HANA, and SAP Analytics Cloud. Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and other relevant SAP solutions for operational efficiency and safety. Education: Bachelor's or Masters degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant SAP certifications are highly desirable. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
