SR Number ERS/ERS/2024/2453875 Designation Senior Technical Architect Location Massachusetts Job Description (Posting). Responsibilities: 1. Provide technical support to clients utilizing Azure IoT services, including IoT Central, IoT Hub, IoT Edge, Azure Functions, Event Grid, Event Hub and related technologies . 2. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to device connectivity, data ingestion, processing, and visualization within Azure IoT solutions. 3. Provision IoT devices at scale by using Device Provisioning. 4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose complex technical problems and implement effective solutions in a timely manner. 5. Manage certificates for the Azure IoT services. 6. Perform system monitoring, log analysis, and proactive maintenance to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security of Azure IoT environments. 7. Develop and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and best practices to support internal teams and external customers. 8. Participate in the design, deployment, and configuration of Azure IoT solutions, adhering to industry best practices and security standards. 9. Stay updated on the latest advancements in Azure IoT technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the organization. 10. Communicate effectively with clients to gather requirements, provide updates on support tickets, and deliver technical guidance as needed. Qualifications: 1. 12+ years of experience in software web applications architecture, design and development using Azure IoT SDK, Azure IoT Central, Azure DPS 2. Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. 3. Proven experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud services, with specific expertise in Azure IoT Hub, Azure IoT Edge, and Azure Functions. 4. Strong understanding of IoT concepts, protocols, and standards, such as MQTT, AMQP, OPC UA, and JSON. 5. Proficiency in programming languages Scripting Language such as C#, .Net, Open API Python, PowerShell. 6. Solid grasp of networking fundamentals, including TCPIP, DNS, DHCP, and firewall configuration. 7. Experience with DevOps practices and tools for automation, continuous integration, and deployment (CI/CD). 8. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 9. Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences. Preferred Qualifications: 1. Microsoft Azure certifications related to IoT, such as Azure IoT Developer or Azure Solutions Architect. 2. Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture. 3. Familiarity with data analytics and visualization tools such as Azure Stream Analytics, Power BI, or Apache Spark. 4. Knowledge of security best practices for IoT deployments, including device provisioning, identity management, and encryption. 5. Previous experience in a customer-facing technical support role or a similar client-focused position.
