Title: System Test Engineer Location: China Grove, NC (Onsite) Type: Contract Job Description: Position Overview The work involves executing test cases, validating software controls and equipment, and documenting issues. The team uses q test as their testing tool and Microsoft Excel for data management. Daily stand-up meetings and end-of-day status calls are part of the routine. We are looking for candidates with experience in two out of three key areas: software (WMS, WES, WCS implementations), automation (AGVs, goods-to-person systems, high-speed sortation) , and distribution center operations. The ideal candidates should be quick learners, adaptable, and organized. The role involves working with software and automation equipment, executing test cases, and documenting issues. While the position requires light technical knowledge, it focuses more on functional understanding from an end-user perspective. They should also be easy to work with and able to add value creatively during downtime. Physical capability is important, as the job may involve manual labor. Strong organizational skills are crucial, as the role requires managing hundreds of test cases and tracking issues thoroughly. While technical knowledge is beneficial, the focus is more on functional understanding from an end-user perspective, including the ability to translate design documentation into test scenarios.
