Strong understanding of cybersecurity issues and the ability to develop solutions to mitigate security risks. Extensive experience in embedded Linux development, with a focus on security. Proficiency in debugging and resolving security issues in an embedded environment. Strong programming skills in C/C++, with additional expertise in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, and Perl. Ability to write clean, maintainable, and secure code that adheres to industry standards. Experience with build systems and tools like Yocto/OpenEmbedded, ensuring efficient and secure software compilation and deployment. Familiarity with code development and version control tools, including Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, and Jira. Desirable Qualifications: Practical experience working with the Yocto or OpenEmbedded build systems, particularly in a security-focused context. Key Responsibilities: Lead all aspects of software security within the RDK stack, ensuring the implementation of best practices in secure coding, threat analysis, and encryption technologies. Utilize your extensive experience in embedded Linux development to ensure secure and efficient software design and implementation. Debug and resolve complex security issues within the embedded Linux environment, maintaining high standards of software integrity. Oversee the management and integration of open-source components within the RDK stack, ensuring compliance with security standards and best practices. Stay informed about the latest developments in open-source security and apply this knowledge to enhance our systems.
