The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Golden Gate technology and a proven track record of delivering high-quality data integration projects.Key Responsibilities Golden Gate Implementation: Design, develop, and implement Golden Gate solutions for various data replication scenarios, including Oracle to Oracle, SQL Server to Oracle, Oracle to SQL Server, Oracle to Cloud, and other database combinations. Configure and manage Golden Gate processes, trails, and extracts to ensure efficient data replication. Troubleshoot and resolve Golden Gate-related issues. Database Administration: Possess a solid understanding of Oracle database administration, including schema design, performance tuning, and backup/recovery procedures. Collaborate with database administrators to ensure optimal database performance and availability. ETL Development: Experience with Informatica or other ETL tools is a plus. Participate in the design and development of ETL processes to support data integration and transformation requirements. Technical Documentation: Create and maintain clear and concise technical documentation for Golden Gate implementations, including design specifications, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.Required Skills and Experience 5-6 years of hands-on experience with Golden Gate implementation and administration. Strong understanding of Oracle database concepts, including data types, SQL, and PL/SQL. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation and task management. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Preferred Skills and Experience Experience with Exadata or other MPP databases. Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, AWS, Azure). Familiarity with data quality and governance best practices.
