| Senior Data Scientist-SAS BI Cloud Raleigh NC -Hybrid -Locals prefers 12 months Role Overview: As a key member of the Data Division, this role supports the modernization of enterprise solutions for state agencies. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and supporting business intelligence applications, with a focus on analytics solutions. The Senior Technical Lead serves as a subject matter expert, guiding the innovation team in leveraging advanced technologies, such as SAS, cloud-native tools, AI, and data science techniques, for proof-of-concepts and enterprise solutions. Key Responsibilities: Lead development of enterprise BI applications and analytics solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders, Client teams, and vendors to deliver solutions. Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise for the innovation team. Oversee data analysis, queries, and reporting for project teams. Stay updated on the latest technologies and trends to drive innovative solutions. Required Skills: Strong leadership in technical architecture and application development. Proficient in AWS or Azure Cloud services, SQL, Python, machine learning, and SAS VIYA 4. Expertise in data engineering, data science, and BI tools (SAS, Power BI, Tableau). Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure). Experience with Power BI/Tableau for data visualization. Knowledge of Java/.NET and Object-Oriented Programming.
